Salsa, the Web 3 native messaging platform that helps users discover and connect with relevant people and brands, has released its mobile app into public beta after a USD 2 million pre-raise.
The company said the new Salsa mobile app will help web3 users create meaningful connections by using social proof from on-chain data to add context to wallet-native messaging. While web3 users create valuable on-chain data, they currently communicate on web2 platforms such as Telegram and Discord, which do not natively understand data.
The result is a fragmented user experience and phishing scams. “Salsa focuses on non-financial assets that turn Ethereum addresses into meetable people,” says Helena Gagern, Co-Founder and CEO of Salsa.
