Microsoft to Launch Image-Creation Tool Powered by OpenAI’s Tech

Microsoft Corp (MSFT.O) rolled out an image-creation feature for the browser Edge and search engine Bing on Tuesday. The feature will utilize the technology behind OpenAI’s DALL-E for creating pictures based on text prompts. The company will make the tool Bing Image Creator for all the users of the latest AI-powered version of Bing and Edge preview.

According to a Microsoft blog post, the tool will roll out on Tuesday for desktop and mobile users, and the Bing Image Creator will be integrated into Bing chat.
