As the popularity of generative AI tools grows, Meta is introducing some new controls that will let users choose whether or not their personal information is used to train AI models.
This choice will be made through a new form on its Privacy Centre hub. Regular users will now have more control over such information thanks to Meta’s new feature, which allows users to “delete any personal information from third parties used for generative AI” via a quick form feedback process.
Additionally, Meta has updated its Privacy Centre with a new overview of generative artificial intelligence (AI), which provides a general overview of the various techniques used to train AI models as well as the role that user-provided Metadata can play in those techniques.
