HubSpot has announced the release of ChatSpot, a new tool that uses AI to make suggestions. According to a video posted by HubSpot founder and CTO Dharmesh Shah, the new app, which is currently in alpha, combines technology from HubSpot’s own CRM with OpenAI’s ChatGPT, DALL-E 2, and Google Docs applications like Google Sheets and Google Slides.
Using natural language prompts, the ChatSpot app aims to make it simpler for users to operate within HubSpot’s CRM. This technology, which Dharmesh refers to as “ChatUX,” enables users to interact with the CRM and complete a number of marketing and sales tasks in a shorter amount of time.
With the help of contextual data about the business and the contact the salesperson is addressing, the ChatSpot app can generate emails and other messages.
