The Search Generative Experience (SGE), a new version of Google’s search engine that uses generative artificial intelligence to improve its results, received a number of updates today from Google LLC.
SGE is a variation of the search engine offered by the company that includes a new panel on query results pages. The panel, which displays above search results, contains text produced by AI. New updates speed up the process of generating overviews of any topics users are searching for and add more images and videos to go with its explanations.
It was released in May and can only be accessed through the Search Labs early access program. By selecting the Labs button in Chrome Beta and the Google mobile app, users can register to participate.
