FreeWheel and OrkaTV Partner to Provide Marketers with a New Way to Buy Advertising on FAST Channels

FreeWheel and OrkaTV have announced a new partnership to provide marketers with a new way to buy advertising on fast-growing, free-ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels.

This partnership gives advertisers working with FreeWheel access to over 3,500 FAST channels through OrkaTV’s streaming TV marketplace. This increases the pool of FAST ad inventory and drives up demand for such ad inventory.

The two companies are also addressing the issue of missing or inconsistent metadata by using OrkaTV’s value-added tech layer. This will allow advertisers to bid on inventory more accurately and ensure that ads are correctly placed.
