A real-time collaboration notebook bearing Fiberplane’s name that was created especially for DevOps teams that need to quickly debug IT infrastructure is now available in public beta, the company announced.
Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Micha Hernandez van Leuffen, CEO of Fiberplane, stated that it is obvious that the structure of DevOps teams has permanently changed as more team members now work remotely. The problem, he continued, is that the DevOps teams were given tools to manage IT environments, but those tools were not created to support the level of collaboration that is now necessary.
By utilizing the same operational transformation algorithm that Google Docs uses to make it simple for teams to collaborate on documents and spreadsheets, the Fiberplane notebook is able to accomplish that goal.
