Avegant unveils new Spotlight Display for Augmented Reality

Avegant has announced a new display technology called Spotlight. This technology uses LED illumination to reduce power consumption while also improving contrast.

Avegant has partnered with Applied Materials and Lumileds to develop the technology for augmented reality. Spotlight is a low-cost solution that allows Average Pixel Level (APL) benefits to be achieved, including reduced power consumption and persistent content.

The technology is available now, and demos are available upon request.
