Alteryx Signs Definitive Agreement to Be Acquired by Clearlake Capital Group and Insight Partners for $4.4 Billion

The Analytics Cloud Platform company Alteryx, Inc. has announced that it has finalized an agreement to be acquired by global private equity firms Insight Partners and Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. (collectively, “Clearlake”) for a sum of $4.4 billion, including debt.

After the deal closes, Alteryx will be a privately held business. As per the terms of the agreement, each share of Alteryx Class A or Class B common stock that an investor owns will be paid $48.25 in cash.

The purchase price per share is 59% more than Alteryx’s undisturbed closing stock price on September 5, 2023—the final full trading day before news of a potential sale transaction leaked out.
