AI21 Labs adds Generative AI capabilities to Google Docs

An Israeli startup using generative AI called AI21 Labs has announced that Spices, a Wordtune feature, is now accessible on Google Docs via a Chrome extension.

Spices collaborates with a writer to support the writing process by providing a variety of textual options to add to and improve sentences. Along with citing the source, spices can also offer statistics to support an argument or hone in on a specific point.

According to the company, wordtune can help writers create full pages of text in a fraction of the time, speeding up the writing process for a variety of applications, including academic essays, professional documents, and creative work.
