Downstreem, a global digital forensics company specializing in mobile devices and complex forensic analysis, today announces its new product, StreemView, a mobile device analysis, investigation and culling (ECA) platform that supports all data types and operating systems from any mobile device. StreemView provides digital forensics practitioners a more transparent, efficient, intelligent, and cost-effective tool for mobile data.

In response to mobile devices becoming a primary source of data and evidence in litigation, Downstreem designed StreemView to offer the industry’s most comprehensive mobile-first forensics platform. The new user-friendly platform transforms the traditionally cumbersome process for viewing, culling, analyzing, and investigating data across hundreds of thousands of separate documents to an intuitive and organized dashboard with near-immediate access to all mobile data and ready-to-use analysis features.

“We live in a mobile-first world where communication happens through chats and social media platforms,” says Andreas Mueller, COO of Downstreem. “In litigation, mobile devices are now a primary source for evidence and data. Yet the digital forensics industry still operates on platforms built to support a different era of loose electronic documents and emails. StreemView changes the game by modernizing how mobile data is analyzed.”

Downstreem’s new mobile forensics platform transforms how investigators interact with mobile data. In StreemView, a multi-year text conversation is presented in one cohesive, scrollable document in bubble or table format, as opposed to traditional review platforms that present chat data in hundreds of thousands of separate documents based on 24-hour periods.

The StreemView platform features ready-made tools for efficient analysis including analytic indexes, interactive timelines, conceptual analytics, word clouds, emoji clouds and more. The platform also integrates a secure and easy data archiving system enabling fast download for future access.

“We are committed to building products and offering services that make collecting and analyzing digital data as easy as possible.” says Rick Hutchinson, CEO of Downstreem, who brings decades of experience in digital forensics and eDiscovery. “The launch of StreemView builds on the success of our suite of cutting-edge solutions for remote collections, automated self-collection and forensic analysis.”
